This session will explore how Hybrid Closed Loop (HCL) technology is improving outcomes for people with type 1 diabetes while acting as a catalyst for wider outpatient transformation. Attendees will learn about the National Hybrid Closed Loop and Type 1 Diabetes Outpatient Transformation Programme, the role of primary care in identifying and advocating for eligible patients, and the support available through regional Health Innovation Networks. Through practical examples, delegates will gain insights into how HCL technology is helping the NHS deliver more preventative, community-based and digitally enabled care, while reducing variation and improving equitable access.
