CVRM Professional Care 2026 programme overview

CVRM Professional Care 2026 programme overview

This year's CVRM Professional Care programme will bring together experts from across diabetes, cardiovascular, renal and metabolic care to explore the latest developments, challenges and opportunities shaping integrated care.

Across the two days (October 20 and 21), delegates will hear from leading clinicians, academics and healthcare professionals on topics spanning artificial intelligence (AI), health inequalities, disease prevention, therapeutic advances and integrated care pathways.

Sessions have been designed to encourage collaboration across specialisms and provide practical insights that can be applied across healthcare settings.

The programme will open with Dr Kevin Fernando exploring what CVRM means for the future of integrated care before delving into some of the key issues affecting clinical practice today.

Delegates can gain practical guidance on developing and delivering CVRM services, including insights from the team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on building a successful CVRM clinic.

Innovation is a key theme throughout the programme, with sessions examining the role of AI in CVRM care, emerging approaches to cardiovascular disease prevention and the opportunities presented by closer working between primary and secondary care.

The programme will also explore how healthcare professionals can better support diverse populations and address health inequalities through integrated CVRM approaches.

With four dedicated theatres covering prevention, innovation, therapeutic advances and integrated care pathways, the programme offers opportunities to learn from real-world examples, hear expert perspectives and discover new approaches to improving outcomes for people living with long-term conditions.

Whether you are looking for practical solutions, strategic insights or the latest thinking in CVRM care, the programme has been designed to support healthcare professionals working across the full patient pathway.
