Healthcare professionals invited to shape future of CVRM care

Healthcare professionals invited to shape future of CVRM care

Specialists working in the cardiovascular, renal and metabolic (CVRM) field are being encouraged to share their views on integrated care through a new survey led by CVRM Professional Care.

The questionnaire aims to assess healthcare professionals’ knowledge, confidence and clinical practice across the CVRM spectrum, helping to ensure that future educational initiatives are tailored to the needs of those delivering care.

Entitled ‘The Annual CVRM Survey 2026’, the survey will help build a clearer picture of how things are changing and where more support is needed.

The survey launches alongside the inaugural chapter of CVRM Professional Care – a two-day, educational event focused on the future of integrated care.

Taking place on October 20 and 21 at Olympia, London, CVRM Professional Care will bring together healthcare professionals from across specialties to share knowledge, tackle shared challenges and shape the future of long-term condition management.

Spanning diabetes, cardiology, renal and metabolic health, the conference will encourage clinicians to look beyond individual conditions and embrace a more integrated approach to care.

By fostering collaboration across disciplines, the event aims to support a more joined-up model of care that reflects the realities of managing CVRM conditions in clinical practice.

Matt Hodgins, Event Director for CVRM Professional Care, said: “We want to hear directly from the healthcare professionals working across CVRM care about the realities they face in clinical practice.

“The survey gives them an opportunity to share where they feel confident, where challenges remain and what support could make a meaningful difference.”

He added: “By capturing these perspectives, we can build a more accurate picture of the current landscape and use those insights to inform education and resources.”

The survey is open to all healthcare professionals and is completely anonymous. The survey will close on 4th September.
