Importance of managing MLTCs in one consultation to be highlighted at CVRM Professional Care
Practical approaches to managing cardiovascular, renal and metabolic health within one consultation will be shared by an Honorary Cardiologist at the inaugural CVRM Professional Care.
In his session, Dr Rajay Narain, who is also the Chairman of the Global Health Alliance UK, will explore practical strategies to optimise risk assessment, medication management, guideline implementation and patient engagement, helping healthcare professionals improve outcomes, reduce treatment burden and maximise the value of every clinical encounter.
The session aims to enable earlier intervention, improve patient outcomes and make more efficient use of healthcare resources.
Dr Narain said: “As people increasingly present with multiple long-term conditions, clinicians must move beyond disease-specific reviews towards integrated CVRM care.”
The session will optimise therapies that deliver multiple benefits across heart, kidney and metabolic health and reinforce the message: one patient, one consultation, one integrated CVRM review.
In addition, Dr Narain will use the session to improve adherence through shared decision-making and personalised care and deliver guideline-based care efficiently within realities of busy NHS practice.
The session ‘The CVRM Annual Review: Managing Multiple Long-Term Conditions in One Consultation’ will take place at CVRM Professional Care on October 21st, from 16:00 to 16:30 in the Practical Workshops – hosted by Dr Rajay Narain (Honorary Cardiologist at St. George’s University Hospital, London and Chairman of the Global Health Alliance UK).
