Carys is an experienced GP and works both in the NHS and privately. She leads women's health for her NHS practice and runs a weekly LARC and women's health clinic. She is the founder and director of Rowena Health online menopause clinic. Carys holds the British Menopause Society Advanced Certificate of Menopause care and Diplomas from the RCOG and the CoRSH. She is a member of the RCGP and the British Menopause Society. She is trained in CBT and Nutrigenomics. In April 2026 she completed a post graduate diploma in obesity and weight management with distinction. She co-authored the book 'Women’s Health Made Easy', a practical guide for health professionals, published in March 2026. She is a director of Primary Care Women’s Health Society.
