National Clinical Director for Diabetes and Obesity in England, NHS England

Dr. Clare Hambling is Chair of the Primary Care Diabetes Society, Clinical Lead for the National Diabetes Audit (Primary Care Core), and the GP Clinical Lead for Diabetes and Population Health, Norfolk and Waveney ICS. Although interested in all aspects of diabetes care, working in Norfolk over the past 23 years, Clare has developed a particular interest in the care of older people living with diabetes. She is also interested in service development and has led or contributed to several initiatives within the Norfolk and Waveney ICS aimed at improving the care of older people living with diabetes. She hopes to share some of her experience at DPC 2022.
