Dr Mohamed Elnaggar is a Consultant Endocrinologist, Lipidologist and Clinical Lead for Lipid Services at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. He also serves as Clinical Lipid Lead for South Cumbria and Lancashire.
Dr Elnaggar has extensive experience managing patients with dyslipidaemia, diabetes and obesity, and previously taught Diabetes and Lipidology as a lecturer at the Alexandria Faculty of Medicine, having completed his training in Egypt. He has been instrumental in establishing his local Lipid service, initiating local guidelines and pathways for lipid management, and implementing innovative approaches to CVRM disease management.
