Bio:
Erica completed her nurse training in Manchester and qualified as a RGN 1999. She has nursing experience in acute, primary and community nursing.
She now works in a combined role as a nurse lecturer, ANP in diabetes and lead diabetes research at the university hospitals of Leicester. For the previous 10 years she worked as an independent nurse practitioner and the lead for adult in-patient services at SaTH NHS Trust.
She is committee member for TREND-Diabetes and an associate of the DTN-UK. She is a co-author of many of the Trend -Diabetes resources and holds independent publication status (in article and abstract publications). She has 25 years’ experience in the training and education of nursing and medical staff and proven record of teaching experience at local, national and international level.
