Poster Zone

Showcase your work at CVRM Professional Care

The Poster Zone is a great opportunity to share the results of your work at CVRM Professional Care. It provides a platform for healthcare professionals to showcase their innovative projects, case studies and research to thousands of peers across the sector.


How does it work

  • Delegates are invited to submit abstracts for consideration until 12 noon on Friday 4th September.
  • Abstracts can be any appropriate and/or innovative piece of work relating to patient care and/or your practice.
  • We welcome abstracts relating to the overall themes of our main content theatres. Please see below.
  • Posters that have been presented at other events in the last 24 months are accepted.
  • All submissions are reviewed by an independent adjudication panel. The highest-scoring posters will be presented live at the event.

If your abstract is accepted, you will be required to produce and bring a printed version of your poster for display at CVRM Professional Care 2026 on 20-21 October at Olympia London.

Deadline for submissions: MIDDAY, FRIDAY 4th SEPTEMBER 2026

Abstract Guidelines

We welcome abstracts relating to the key themes of the CVRM Professional Care conference programme, including:

  • Prevention and Population Health
  • Integrated Care and Service Transformation
  • Obesity, Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine
  • Digital Innovation, Data and Technology
  • Patient-Centred Care and Health Inequalities
  • Advanced Treatments and Innovations
  • Clinical Research and Emerging Evidence
  • Cardiovascular Health
  • Kidney Health
  • Diabetes and Metabolic Health

Abstract Structure

Please structure your abstract using the following headings:

  • Title
  • Authors and affiliation
  • Background and introduction
  • Aims and objectives
  • Method
  • Results
  • Discussion and conclusion
  • References (max 3)

You may include a maximum of one image, graph, chart, or table.

You must provide relevant justification for ethical approval.

Word count: A maximum of 500 words, excluding title, authors, subheadings, references, and tables/images etc.

Please note that submissions which do not follow the required abstract structure may be rejected.

Important Information

  • Your abstract should champion the patient voice.
  • Your abstract should relate to the presenters’ own work.
  • Your abstract should relate to cardiovascular, renal or metabolic practice, explore key themes accepted above.
  • All accepted poster presenters must attend CVRM Professional Care. The poster is not able to be displayed if the presenter is unable to attend.
  • If your poster has been presented at other events in the last 24 months, you must include in your entry form where and when you previously presented your poster.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that all appropriate approvals have been received, including any ethical approvals. You should include a statement on approvals in your entry.

Adjudication Process

The independent adjudication panel’s decision will be final and will not enter any discussion or correspondence. The abstracts will be adjudicated by the following criteria:

  • Clarity of aims and objectives
  • Originality of work
  • Relevancy to practice
